comic books

I recently had to tidy up what is left of my comic book collection and stumbled on three compact discs of Enki Bilal’s “The Nikopol Trilogy“, published by Metal Hurlant Productions with Les Humanoïdes Associés in 1996.

Silent

In movies on January 28, 2010 at 06:56

Who never laughed or shed tears while watching a Charles Spencer Chaplin movie? Whenever I happen to watch one of his movies nowadays, I get reminded how dull some of our contemporary pictures are. According to French writer Emile Zola, “Civilization will not attain to its perfection until the last stone from the last church falls on the last priest” (19th century).

Atheism (Antithesism) Opinion that religion is the antithesis of knowledge relying simply on belief and faith.

What could we talk about today? Maybe about the crazy weather? You probably think it might become boring. But not if you live at the North Pole. In fact I live right across the pole itself. …

This morning I noticed that yesterday’s snowstorm had moved the north pole, it was slightly bent. Don’t worry, I took care of it. Too avoid further disturbances, I raised a flag on the pole. A white flag. …

You better be careful butchering the baby seal. All this white and no washing machine in sight.
